#Homelessness , an epidemic.

More than a million empty homes and still not enough housing for our homeless!?!

Most of us are literally one pay-cheque away from being made homeless. This epidemic is effecting not just the poor, but also the middle and upper classes. Some members of our communities find themselves homeless due to their mental or physical health. Homelessness effects the young and old, from all walks of life. Today it's them, but tomorrow it could be you, a family member, close friend, even me.

Independent.co.uk "The number of rough sleepers increased by 15 per cent in just one year, up 617 since autumn 2016. London represented nearly a quarter (24 per cent) of all rough sleepers in England, at 1,140 on any given night – up from 23 per cent the previous year."
Crisis.org.uk "People sleeping on the street are almost 17 times more likely to have been victims of violence. More than one in three people sleeping rough have been deliberately hit or kicked or experienced some other form of violence whilst homeless."
